Why I chose to sponsor a child with Strong Angels (Julie and Irma)

I have supported Irma for several years to become educated and enable her to have more life choices.  I went to an orphanage in Bali in 2008 and saw the darker side of some ‘charities’ where donations are received but the children often see little benefit. 

Then I was introduced to Strong Angels. Inc through my work as a nurse. 

I see how tirelessly Frank, Susanne, Marie and others work to make every dollar count for our children.

This charity is quietly and consistently making changes to families lives in Bali year after year. 

I hope to meet Irma for the first time this year (2024) when I go in September.

Background : Irma is being cared for by a family in her village. Agung, a teacher from her school, oversees the sponsored children in their village. Agung is happy that we are helping to keep Irma out of orphanage life. Irma’s parents deserted her after they divorced. No information is known about their whereabouts.
