Trisna's journey

Hello everyone, my name is I Gusti Ayu Agung Trisna Dewi, my nickname is Trisna. I lived in Petang, Bali. I am the third child of five siblings. My father's name is Agung Sumanadi and my mother's name is Erawati. Our parents experienced financial difficulties because they had to seek treatment for my mother's cancer. There we experienced life changes that were so difficult, we were confused because we had a lot of debt.

The year 2017 is exactly when I have finished my junior high school education and will continue to senior high school. I met Mr. Frank who visited my village together with Susane, Margaret, Vig and Paula. Where they offered me to stay at the Strong Angels hostel and continue my senior high school studies there, my parents and I agreed because at that moment I really needed that help so that I could lighten the burden

on my parents.

Day after day my life feels better because I can continue my studies very well because all my school fees are helped by strong angels, in the hostel I live with friends who I consider like family and are guided by Mr. Frank and Mrs. Tirta, and become a more independent child. Mrs. Tirta taught us to cook, clean and make Hindu ceremonial equipment such as making canang, banten, etc.

In 2019 I finished my studies at Senior High School. On April 16 2019, at that exact time, my mother had to undergo surgery to remove cancer of her stomach and uterus. There I felt very down because I was waiting for the results of my mother's operation from morning until around ten o'clock in the evening coming out of the operating room. In the morning my mother had the operation finished in the evening to coincide with the announcement that I had been accepted to study at a state university in Bali with a

Diploma 4 major managerial accounting.

Day by day, I have been carrying out an orientation period as a student at a university in Bali. I have been studying for about 6 months when suddenly Covid-19 happened. There we again experienced difficulties where at that time we were studying from home online, we needed extra money to buy internet quota.

However Mr. Frank felt our objection to having to buy extra quota, Mr. Frank asked to install wifi in the hostel and it was approved by the Strong Angels committee. So our burden was a little lighter because we didn't have to think about the costs of buying a quota for virtual learning.

After Covid-19 felt safe, I was able to study on campus face to face again, then I did training at a hotel in Bali, Novotel Bali Nusa Dua in the Accounting department. I was very happy to be able to do direct practice, then the training period was over, I went back to studying while preparing a final report to achieve a diploma 4 in managerial accounting.

On October 1st I completed my D4 Managerial Accounting education. Then I was recommended a job by my lecturer at a Tax and Accounting Consultant Office in Bali located in Tuban, Bali. I felt very happy, I didn't expect that I could study well and now I could get a decent job.

Now my mother's condition has recovered but she still carries out monthly checks.
